If you need help creating, coordinating and managing all the different aspects of putting on an event - I'm your gal!  People who hire an event planner hire someone to plan all aspects of the event, including the related details and action items, and to see that event through until its completion.  This can include * selecting an overall theme for the event * developing a budget * selecting a venue *negotiating hotel/venue contracts * hiring outside vendors * planning the menu * hiring a caterer * arranging for guest speakers or entertainment * coordinating transportation * choosing the color scheme * developing invitations and so on.  It also includes the management aspect of * reserving a location for an event *coordinating outside vendors *developing a parking plan *designing emergency contingency *plans *overseeing execution of an event *monitoring of the event *resolving event situations on site.

Planning an event can be overwhelming, there are so many details to handle and it can just seem like too much.  Having someone to guide you through the process and handle all the logistics and details for and with you, can release the stress of planning a great event.  Working within a budget and setting realistic goals is necessary to achieve event success.  

I have worked with events with little to no budget to events that have a nice budget to add some additional pizzazz to the event.  Regardless of where you or your organization falls, I can assist you with reaching your goals.

What happens in the initial consultation? 

We will focus on determining your needs through our initial consultation and then we’ll move forward to plan and coordinate everything for your event. I am able to do as much planning as you would like… from full event planning to day of coordination. It’s all about customization.

Additionally, you may decide that you'd like to have an entertainer or have a professional speaker come in and ignite your team into action. My background includes work in the speaker industry, so I'm happy to assist and navigate through the thousands of professional speakers out there, making recommendations based on your needs and the goals of your event.
